Hi I am trying to set up Promotion IDs for my feeds. My feed is for a category with many brands but I only want the promotion to apply for one brand. I have the Promotion set to only apply to a specific brand, but it is showing for the entire feed. Even after removing the “Promotion ID” field altogether and updating the feed, it still shows! Why is my feed not updating correctly / removing the field? Thank you in advance.

    Hello @dn282906,

I am not really following you.
could make use of screenshots so i know what you mean?

Some questions that may be apply:

    – Did activate the feed by clicking the activate link in the feed list?
    – Did you try and manually update the feed by clicking the “save and generate Feed” in the Feed editor?

Thanks for the response. I have taken screenshots to help explain my issue.

Here I have filtered the Promotion to only show for the brand titled “Kind LED” then saved and generated the feed:

However the promotion is active on every product in the feed regardless of the brand. The following link is from my Merchant Center showing that the promotion id is still being applied to this product even though it is a different brand than “Kind LED”:

Because of this my “Promotion” in the Google Merchant Center is being rejected for use in my PLA’s and shopping ads: https://imgur.com/OTGnwZT
I need to figure out why the promotion id is not being applied to the specific brand I requested. Hope this helps clear things up, thank you again! Great plugin.

    Thanks for the screenshots @dn282906.
I see now what you are trying to accomplice.

I also see what is going wrong and we should have a look at this.
I do have a work around so you do not have to wait for a fix.

You did not used the OR statement. When left blank the statement is always true. (this is a bug)

Using OR statement and (Edit Values)

The Work around is using the OR statement and if the condition is not true give Promotion_id a value (“EMPTY” for example). After that empty the value by clicking the (edit values) link and choose “Remove” from the drop down and remove the value “EMPTY” (or what ever value you have added)

    Check the screenshot:

    Example of the condition

Let me know if you have understood.
