Roles screwed up by Memberwing

So I was setting up my site and playing with some registration options. Thought I would check out Memberwing. HUGE mistake.

Not only did it not my needs (no biggie), it didn’t uninstall properly — errors all over the place. *AND* it left behind a pile of crap in the form of four user levels I can’t do anything with — “Bronze Member”, “Silver Member”, etc. for gold and platinum.

I found Role Manager which isn’t yet 2.7 compatible, but didn’t matter — Bronze Member is coded as “bronze_member” and RM won’t work with special characters like the underscore, so I can’t even use it to delete them. I have NO idea how to trash these other four users.

I’ve sent a zinger to the company, not that it will do any good. What a piece of crap. And they’re actually SELLING this turdbucket?

If anyone knows how to reset to the original five user levels, would love to know…
