• I’ve tried this plugin a few times now and I think it has some major UX issues, try using this on a 27″ screen and you see what I mean. Too much of the space is blank and is wasted. This problem would not be apparent on small devices.

This is not a plugin that should be included in core. The TinyMCE editor is just fine. This problem and the use of the OSS hostile React library earns the plugin 1 star from me.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Also, thanks for being a tester of this several times, that matters a lot and helps shape Gutenberg. The current plan is to always allow Gutenberg to be turned off, but the hope is that over time more and more won’t want to do this. How this happens at the minimum would be a plugin, but that’s undecided.

You are right the adaption to various devices (big and small) needs to be iterated. Mobile also has significant issues the team is working on. Over time this will be worked on and the project is growing day by day. Thank you for taking time to feedback though as that is fuel that makes this project grow.
