I have a two-part form set up on the link that I’ve given and I’ve set up the Subject admin email on the last form to show up the field “English Pinyin Name”. This field is on the first form.

The issue is it doesn’t work and on the actual email it shows as
“A new application submission from {English Pinyin Name}”

English Pinyin Name is the actual field Name located on the first part of the 2 part series form.

    I hope it’s clear.
    Looking forward to your help.

Try {cf_form_English Pinyin Name}. See also the Help! “multipart forms” section.

    Hi @bgermann,

It doesn’t seem to work. I already checked the help section regarding multipart forms and I’ve used the {field label} as per my message above.

    Hi,

Is there any update on this? The current email subject of the form submissions is as per below
” A new application submission for Sourcing Manager from {cf_form_English/Pinyin Name}” it doesn’t actually display the value of the field but displays the field name itself.

Okay. As your first form is form with index 3, you have to change the variable name to {cf_form3_English Name} (Where is the Pinyin part? I just see “English Name”).

    Hi,

Thank you so much for replying. I have renamed the field to English Name. How do I know what index my form is?

It is its position in the “Navigate to” form selection field on “Form Settings” page.

    Hi @bgermann,

I noticed that there is a new version of the plugin and on this version the choice to suppress admin email for multi-part forms is gone.

On the form below, I also have a problem in the email subject of the Admin email as it is showing as “A new application submission for Sourcing Assistant from {cf_form1_English Name}” instead of showing the actual name of the applicant. Furthermore, the admin email is being sent as two for the different parts of the form (the form has 2 parts).

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi @bgermann, following up on this please.

    Plugin Author bgermann

    (@bgermann)

The checkbox to suppress admin email for multi-part forms is gone, because there is the general “Turn off admin email” checkbox in the “Admin Email Message Options”.

    Plugin Author bgermann

    (@bgermann)

If you enable the option for your first form, you will only receive an email for the second, so the problem “admin email is being sent as two for the different parts” should be gone.

You must not use the “cf_form?_” prefix for variables in subjects.
