Page data showing above main text

Following a theme update (Avada) we are seeing page data showing above the text on all static pages. This data includes the page title, author and last modified data and time stamp. For example:
Home newschooladmin 2017-09-05T11:25:08+00:00

This is showing only in Firefox and Chrome, not Safari, and it affects only static pages, not posts. The theme support said they do not see the issue. We’d like to prevent this showing. Is there a way to do that? What is causing this odd behavior?
