• I have a problem with some orders that dont get any shipping method applied.
I have the shop setup with these params:

    Base location: Sweden (store location)
Selling location: Sell to specific countries (and sweden is selected here)
Shipping location: Ship to specific countries only (and sweden is selected here)
Default customer location: Shop base address
One shipping zone “Locations not covered by your other zones”
Two shipping methods: Free shipping, Flat rate
Shipping destination: Default to customer billing address

In last 200 orders i got 5 that had either Free shipping or Flat rate applied. And i cant figure out why!? How is this possible?
I have checked the confirmation email the user gets, and there is no shipping row in the receipt on these orders.

Im running a childtheme under Storefront.
    Im currently using WooCommerce 3.1.1

  • I’m having the same problem. I have two different shipping classes and want one to have a flat rate shipping fee while the other has free shipping. All within the same zone (Canada). I don’t understand how to get this to display for the appropriate product! The flat rate shipping products show up with a flat rate AND free shipping option (which is dumb, because a user can just choose free shipping before checkout).

    PLEASE HELP WooCommerce masters!

Emily, i dont know if thats the same problem we have. I know there is that strange thing that the flat rate is visible when the free shipping is applied, and that they can choose the flat rate if they want (why they want to do that.. maybe a scenario whould be that free shipping is shipped with shipping company X and the shipping that cost money is shipped with priority company Y).

When the customer chooses free shipping it will say free shipping on the receipt.

My problem is that neither Free shipping or Flat rate is applied to the order. On the order it says nothing at all about shipping type. And this only happens sometimes.
