• Hello,

I should place WP in a div within the body tag of an existing page (runs on php/mysql).

Then I should remove the WP header and footer, as the page has it’s own.

    I’d appreciate some help.

    Thanks
    Derda

Maybe it’s best if you just use an iframe

If you don’t want the header and footer, what do you want to embed? You can use the RSS feed on your blog if you want the post content. Embedding that RSS feed wouldn’t be a WordPress question so you can Google how to do that.

I should place the blog plus the sidebar.

I don’t think this is possible unless you’re a developer. Can you make the sidebar yourself outside of WordPress?

If all you want to do is display a list of posts from another WordPress site, you could use the Jetpack “Display WordPress Posts” widget. The description reads “Displays a list of recent posts from another WordPress.com or Jetpack-enabled blog.” So, provided you have JetPack on both your sites, that should work. I haven’t tried this, I just remember seeing it in the Widgets list.

    Hope that helps

If you have WordPress on both sites then that changes the rules a lot.

Thanks again. Did it with an iFrame.
