• Hi,

any one can help me setting my open book cURL rules to connect with openlibrary:

    Host: openlibrary.org
    Protocol: https
    Option: ??????
    Value: ?????

I’m a simple user of the plugin, and when searching the book I just receive a blank menu without the insert and preview buttons.

Thank you if any one can advise me on this.

I’m not sure I can help much. I don’t know anything about how cURL works. However I posted a support thread which had this plugin doing similar things ( …blank menu without the insert and preview buttons.)

If you or your host provides a way to select the PHP version, choose an older one ( PHP 5.2 works for me). Some hosts also give a way to select the PHP Extensions and you may see cURL listed

    Thank you Thomas.

    It’s a problem that i can’t find a true expert on php-curl nearby.
I’m using php 7.0.23, but downgrading the php version will disable other features of my website. I tested with plugins that configure automatically the phpcurl connection to Amazon to collect data and they worked perfectly. But I don’t want to collect the information displayed by a book seller, I want the data that can be used in scientific research which is available in openlibrary.
Zotero plugin is also facing problems with information processing and more time is needed to be expended on gathering data.

Anyway, thank you for your reply.
