Homepage Slider Not Working

    Hello-

    We are trying to integrate a slider into our Spina (IE. Kyma) theme. I’ve followed all of the directions, where I go into Appearance, then choose Kyma Options, then choose slider options and add in the slider ShortCode, however, when I save and publish, the home page still shows the original theme slider on the home page.

    The long and short of it is that I’m trying to modify the slider on the home page, but have been unable to do so. I’ve tried Meta Slider, Smart Slider, and Fusion Slider with no avail. Am I doing something incorrectly?

    There is no options put plugin shortcode in

    Appearance >> Customize >> Kyma Options >> Slider Options

    You can only select posts from drop-down to show them as slider.

    Goto Admin Dashboard >> Posts >> Add New

    Enter Title, put some content in editor and select featured image (this image will be display in slider)

    Now goto Appearance >> Customize >> Kyma Options >> Slider Options

    And select the newly created posts from drop-down.

    Note: we’ll add an option in next update for slider plugin shortcode to replace default slider.

    Thank you. This worked well. Any way to remove the post title and “read more” text from the image?

    Also, what is the ideal size of the post’s featured image?

    Ideal size for slider post feature image is 1349*540 px.

    To remove post title and “read more” text from the image follow below instructions:

    Put below CSS Rules into Custom CSS Editor:

    #kyma_owl_slider .owl_slider_con {
    display: none;
}

    Save the changes.
