• This is for the premium version.

Just doesn’t work for the most obvious use cases.

the base editor doesn’t work for enumerated values unless it’s a one-to-one relationship, and then you must choose on each value, rather than trying to sweep through a whole screen full.

Multiple taxonomies apply / unapply. Even simple “add this to all” isn’t there.

The apply changes in bulk feature works only for very limited cases, and then it’s slow. You can’t add filtering conditions such as “apply only to this category” (yes, it says it works, but can’t find your category because it’s trying to scan all taxonomies and doesn’t find the one you want.

If you try and work around it by trying to to apply to a particular author, for example, not there.

Very sparse documentation. The plugin author did respond to a support question, but hours after I figured out my own problem.

Probably works okay in the use case documented by the video (changing text fields / copying and pasting in text fields only / not enumerated or many-to-one situations), but I don’t have that use case.

I had high hopes because I’m working on a major data cleansing effort, but disabled it less than 24 hours after I attempted to use it, and going with native tools or other plugins.

Hi. Thank you for writing this review.

My goal is to make this plugin the best tool for managing WordPress posts and products.

So I appreciate that you took the time to share your findings, and I already started working on the next update which will address all those issues.

The next update will have these improvements:
    – Fast formulas.

We used to execute formulas with a PHP loop to be able to do advanced updates. Example, merge columns, use placeholders in formulas, use wildcards, etc.

Now we are converting simple formulas into a single SQL query, so you can update thousands of posts in a few seconds. It′s a huge improvement.

    – I developed an addon for editing posts on Excel or Google Sheets, so users can take advantage of auto complete, advanced filters, advanced formulas, and team collaboration (Google Sheets). Then you can import back to WP.

The new update is already developed and it′s going through testing. I will release it next week probably.

Now the plugin is getting very powerful combining capabilities from WP, Excel, and Google Sheets.

So thank you again for sharing your findings and helping me improve ??
