• Hi there,

New to WordPress and CSS allergic… please help… Thx…

On theme 2017 static frontage; customized; dark color scheme, header media for front page sections 1 – 4, I am having an issue as the text background disappeared.

Initially the theme was running the suggested header images, I deleted it the suggested image header uploaded new ones, cropped, optimized… all good all well… the front page was showing the header image and the front page sections 1 till 4 were reflecting the text entered in the pages created and set as page sections, the text was showing on a dark background.

Left the site for couple of days, worked on something else to come back to it. To discover now that text isn’t showing on the dark background anymore, but on a transparent background of the image header. It is unreadable as you can see if you scroll down the front page to page sections…

There is been a few plugins upgrade in between, as well as a few new ones optimizing the site, but I didn’t went to mess around the CSS… I therefore tried to deactivate all the plugins and see if the problem was coming from there, as well decided to remove for good certain plugins which could have an impact on the theme CSS, but it still not working…

As I’m old school dreamweaver, from over a decade ago, and forgot all about CSS I don’t know what to look for and where to start… if anyone could help me with that, much appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Max
