Attach a Pre-made PDF/Integration with ACF

  • Hi!

    I need to be able to attach our own custom PDF invoice and then add a link to that PDF when they view the WP-Invoice invoice on the front end.

    I tried to do this with ACF plugin adding a custom field to upload a file. The problem is this upload file field does not show up in the invoice page. I have set ACF rules to be Post Type is equal to Invoice. But this is still not allowing the upload option to be available on the Invoice backend(the same exact feature works for ACF if I set it to a post/page/etc; it will show a file upload field on the backend).

    Is there another way that you would suggest getting our own PDF file attached into each invoice? I see you have WP-Invoice: PDF, but that plugin seems to only create invoices, not upload them.

    Hi Maria,

    Yes, I already tried that. The issue is we would have to re-enter everything all over again when our in-house system creates the invoice for us. It is open to mistakes and errors. We need the exact same invoice we sent to the client already attached and downloadable. But as mentioned, there is a compatibility issue with ACF plugin where the backend upload module does not show up for invoices, like it would show up for any other post type.
