Static Homepage Issue

Hi, so I am having issues with the static homepage setting on my theme and wordpress communicating with each other. The Theme is MaxMag. The issue is, I’m trying to configure the widgets ini the widget screen and whenever I save and publish, it doesn’t show anything. It seems as if /home is not communicating with the theme and justifying it as 2 separate pages. The current settings I have are: Front Page Static – Home and on the theme is the same. Here’s the weird part, when I switch the static page, and go to themeparkpovs.com/home the widgets show up.
