Watermark not applying to existing images

  • Watermark is not getting applied to existing images. I’ve tried applying automatically and manually, the watermark is not appearing. I see the images appearing in the “iw-backup” folder but the watermark isn’t getting applied. Any suggestions?

  • Recently installed plugin. New uploaded images are not a problem. Applying image watermark to existing images do apply in the Media library, but does not save. (i.e. I “apply watermark”, but when returning to image file added watermark is not saved nor appear on website).

    Mostly same problem here – except not even newly uploaded images actually apply a watermark. The images are saved within iw-backup/ but no watermarked image is applied to the product/page image in which “Apply Watermark” is selected. In the media panel, the watermarked image replaces the original, until you reload the page, then it is back to pre-watermarked image.

    Updating to 1.6.3 does not help.

    Hi, I’m having the same issue, I’ve installed the update but the watermark isn’t appearing. I’m using a PNG with a transparent background.

    Please check the just released 1.6.4
    We’ve fixed a number of transparent PNG issues, and this could have been responsible for the above.

    Your 1.6.4 release did not resolve the issue. It does not apply the watermark to existing images. Looking for another solution.
