I search for plugins often to solve a problem and trust that the information provided is clear, especially when going from a free version to a paid version. As I was in a rush to fulfill a client’s demands on a Joomla site with K2 and galleries, I paid for the full version. I did not see a clear indication that the paid version would also require multiple additional paid plugins. After I took care of the issue by hand to ensure I met the client’s deadlines, I contacted FredericGilles.net and explained the situation and asked for a refund. I was told it was very clear and I do not deserve a refund. Clarity is clearly in a gray area. A subtext and small print is not clear to me. Be wary of purchasing anything from this provider. No support, no help and poor customer service. This makes me hesitant to ever pay for an upgraded product again without a full overview of the services provided. Horrible service. Absolutely horrible.
