Our Real Estate Agent add on is expired. When we add new agents – they are unable to edit the associated properties. Do we have to renew our add on to be able to add new agents?

    Hello.

For capabilities responsible another our add-on Power Tools.

And yes, you should have latest versions of both add-ons.

    Regards.

We have updated the plugin, Power Tools, and Real Estate add ons.

Our older real estate agents are able to edit associated properties.

Our newest real estate agents are still unable to edit associated properties.

Please help us to resolve this issue.

Did you update WP-Property as wel?

    Thread Starter louthenw

    (@louthenw)

In my previous message – I said that I updated the plugin. The plugin is WP-Property. It has been updated – as well as all of the add ons. It is still not working correctly.

Which versions do you have of Agents add-on, Power Tools add-on and WP-Property plugin?

    Thread Starter louthenw

    (@louthenw)

    WP-Property – 2.2.0.2
    Agents – 2.0.7
    Power Tools – 1.0.4
    Terms – 1.0.2

I will try to replicate that issue. Will come back to you as soon as possible. If you will give me particular steps, that will be helpful.

    Thanks.

We have fixed the issue. You have the ability to check that by downloading our latest branch from GitHub – https://github.com/wp-property/wp-property/tree/latest

That is a pre-release version, so be sure you are checking it on some test environment.

The fix also will be in the new release of WP-Property. The release date is not scheduled yet.

    Regards.

    Maria –

I downloaded and installed the latest branch.

When I do so – none of the add ons will run. They all say…

WP-Property: Agents is not active due to following errors:
WP-Property: Agents requires the following plugin: WP-Property.
    Begin installing plugin

WP-Property: Power Tools is not active due to following errors:
WP-Property: Power Tools requires the following plugin: WP-Property.
    Begin installing plugin

WP-Property: Terms is not active due to following errors:
WP-Property: Terms requires the following plugin: WP-Property.
    Begin installing plugin

But I have your branched version of WP-Property installed and active.

    What should I do now?

You need to delete word latest from the name of plugin.

Let me know how that goes.

    Regards.

    Maria –

I was able to get the installation to go through successfully with your advice above.

Before installing the latest branch, when I logged in as an individual Real Estate Agent – I was unable to see any of the properties.

Now – when I log in as a Real Estate Agent – I can see and edit all of the properties, not just the ones associated with the Agent.

    What should I do next?

    Thanks

    Hello.

Do you have this option enabled? – Edit other properties

    Thread Starter louthenw

    (@louthenw)

That option was enabled – and after disabling that function – now Agents can only edit the correct listings.

However, Agents cannot see or edit the Property Details section of each listing. I tried enabling all of the capabilities – and they still could not edit Property Details.

Can you make a screenshot of that? Don’t they see property attributes or attributes are uneditable? Or Edit Property button not working?

    Thread Starter louthenw

    (@louthenw)

I have taken two screenshots of the same property.

One screenshot shows the page when logged in as an administrator. You can see the Property Details section at the bottom of the page.

The other screenshot shows the page when logged in as a Real Estate Agent. You can see that the Property Details section can not be seen.
