Product level stock status is no correct for variable products

    For all Variable Product, the stock status in Product level not updated automatically. Say, a product has 5 variables, we have set each variable as 10 in stock. But in product level only show the initial status of “out of stock”, and initial stock of 0. Whenever the variable stock changed, stock status in product level never ever change.

    We have to manually setup the stock status in product level when a variable stock changed. And when we check the stock status, we have to expand product to the variable level so that we can see the correct stock status.

    Please advice how to resolve this problem. Thanks.

    Hi, I know this topic was set as solved, but I still have the same problem (just added the plugin). All my products are set to “1” in stock for variations, but I haven’t changed stock of main product (which does nothing when you have variations). But the plugin displays them as red with 0 in stock nonetheless.

    I have installed the new updates. Looks it hasn’t been resolved yet. Whenever we have updated the stock in variable level, the stock status in product level never changed…

    The stock status and stock number do need to be changed automatically in product level if there are any changes in variable level.

    i dont understood your problem at the first time.
    So, there is problem – WooCommerce dont working this way. If you change stock value in product variation, nothing happends in variable product.

    For now, i changed qty input for variable product – is disabled and showing product variations quantity total.
