Set default category for event

    Hey there,

    for usual wordpress posts there is the possibility to set up a default category. I am looking for a solution to do this for events as well.
    This is important make an automatic newsletter for a certain category work, because it needs to have the relevant category to be set with the first publishing.

    I hope that anyone can help me with this and has a working solution or at least an idea. I am at least a bit familiar with code customizations and have the page working with a child theme.

    Interesting idea, @juppi91!

    This isn’t currently supported, so yes it would need to be implemented via a bit of custom development work (which I’m afraid we cannot assist with here in the free support forums).

    Let’s leave this open, though, and see if others can chip in ideas that might help ??
