  • Hi Jack. You need to install WP.osC package (from wposc.com) before using this plugin (works well with the original osCommerce also).

Thanks Roya. I was actually able to install the WP.osC package. It works great. I wanted to try to install the wp-oscommerce plugin but can’t find a place to download the file. the download currently provided for the plugin (wp-oscommerce.1.0.zip) only has the wp-oscommerce php file and a readme file. I was hoping if you could tell me where i can download that plugin? Thanks for everything.

Once you have installed Wp.osC package into a subdiretory of your wordpress site (for example “shop” subdirectory) you can use the WP plugin. The plugin allows you to drive (and only drive) your blog visitors to your WP.osC Store by displaying on your WordPress blog’s post/page/widget your new products, random products and bestsellers.

So, the main role of the plugin is to add some extra functionality to your WordPress blog and the plugin is just a little part of the entire WP.osC.

To install correctly the plugin , you need to perform two operations :

    1) Download a file called “plugin.php” from https://www.wposc.com/articles_info.php?cPath=27&articles_id=43

Upload the plugin.php file to your store root directory (in our example : put plugin.php file into “shop” subdirectory)

    2) Download WordPress plugin from
    https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/wp-oscommerce/
and install it like any other WP plugin.
Activate this plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
To modify the plugin settings, go to WP-Admin -> Settings -> WP-osCommerce.

Is there no osCommerce plugin for WordPress 2.7? Will there be?
