    Hi,

I’m very happy to find this plugin, just what I was looking for. But unfortunately the temporary user wasn’t able to edit other users. Is it intentional or a bug?

    Thank you for your support!

    No, it’s not a bug. It’s intentional.

We don’t want Temporary User to edit other user and that’s why we restricted it.

We would like to understand your use case. If more people want it, we will think on that.

    Hope that helps.

    Thanks!

I understand your point, it’s clear, that it’s not a good idea to give that permission to a temporary user.

In my case, I wanted to give a temporary access to a freelancer to change more than a hundred users’ email address, because they were imported with a fake email address and we had to change all those email addresses.

I created a normal administrator, so I was able to solve this.

Maybe a checkbox would be great, if I really want to give full permission to a temporary user, when I add a new user with your plugin.

    Thank you for your answer!

Got your use case. Noted your request and we will consider to add this in one of the future release of a plugin.

BTW, if you like this plugin, please consider giving us 5 star ratings here.

    Thanks!
