Has Slideshow been abandoned?

  • Wordpress is saying that Slideshow “may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.”

  • Hi, unfortunately this plugin has not been updated for a while now. It is up to you to install it or not. I will say that it is still working with the latest version of WordPress. Some have shared fixes for other issues in the forum for example PHP version, MySQL version etc

    I hope the developer does decide to keep updating this plugin in the near future.

    It does look like abandoned. Neither the plugin, nor GitHub repo – nothing is updated in last 2 years.
