    Hi!
I’m using Redirection and since a couple of days I get hundreds of 404 from /some-report-uri. What does this mean and how can I stop this? I already had to redirect over 1100 urls because I couldn’t use a csv upload and don’t want any extra work….

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • If this is random traffic you’re getting, you can’t really do anything to stop that… People hammer websites every day trying to find vulnerabilities. I wouldn’t try to catch/fix these types of requests unless it was expected traffic

thanks @ldoughty! I thought the same…. Would it be enough to redirect the crawl failures that appear on webmaster tools?

I don’t use webmaster tools, so I don’t know what the problem with that tool is, or how it knows what URL’s are being requested on your wordpress site
