minlength bug

  • minlength argument for textarea field does not appear to block zero-character submissions. You can see this in sidebar form at https://www.justfrugality.com

    A zero-character submission is accepted. If 1 to 9 characters is submitted (minlength=10, in this case), it is blocked as expected.

    I am receiving spam from bots that leave the textarea blank.

    Nevermind — I simply didn’t have the field marked as mandatory (textarea*). Works fine now.
