I have the latest version of TEC with WordPress 4.8.2 and I still cant get events to show up. They work just fine on WordPress 4.8.1. I’ve also tried clearing the cache but with no luck.

Any ideas on how to fix?

    Thanks.

  • Same here. I’m on the following versions of software…
    Wordpress – 4.8.2
    The Events Calendar – 4.6.1
    Events Tickets – 4.5.6
    Events Tickets Plus – 4.0.4

Events are not showing in the month view but _are_ showing in the List view.

@mbeasom, I was able to resolve my issue by clearing out my browser AND website cache. If you have a caching plugin, I’d recommend busting the cache and refreshing your calendar. That’s what worked for me.

    Hey @mbeasom,

Thank you for reaching out to us!

A few weeks ago we released a Hotfix (The Events Calendar 4.5.12.3) to solve this issue related to the display of events in the default Month View calendar.

This problem was introduced with WordPress version 4.8.2 and impacts all previous versions of The Events Calendar.

To solve this problem, I would recommend you to update as soon as possible. Please don’t forget to clear your site and your browser cache after the update.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Let me know if you have any other questions and I’ll be happy to assist!

    Best Regards,

    Patricia

I am having the same issue events are gone: https://amycoello.com/events

I have tried to update it by following the instructions but I receive the following errors:

    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the plugin…

    Destination folder already exists. /home/content/a2pewpnas01_data01/32/3881232/html/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/

    Plugin install failed.

How do I fix this without causing loss of all my previous events?

The plugin is also missing from the plugin’s page

    Hi @estreitta!

I’m sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

In this sort of situation, I would recommend you delete the plugin folder (/home/content/a2pewpnas01_data01/32/3881232/html/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/) completely, which you can do either via your hosting control panel – usually they provide a file manager tool for this sort of thing – or if you have FTP access, you could so it that way.

You could perhaps even reach out to your web host and ask them to do this work on your behalf: I’m sure they would be happy to help.

With that done, you can simply reinstall The Events Calendar from scratch. I hope that helps.

Note: Removing the plugin folder won’t delete any of you Events as these are all stored in your site’s database

    Best,
    Victor
