Today I updated my Mailpoet to 3.0.5.
Tonight I saw there was an update 3.0.6 so I started to update.
I don’t know where it went wrong but I don’t have any Mailpoet installed.
Shall I reinstall? Will I lose all my members?

  • Go to your plugins page and see if MailPoet is still there but deactivated instead.

Just checked. MailPoet isn’t in the list at all.
(Of course I checked the activation, but I understand your point of view).
See a few other threads, same problem.

    (It should appear here)

For me the complete plugin seems to be disappeared. I can’t reactivate what’s not there.

When I reinstall the plugin will I keep my members??

Just tried to add/reinstall plugin. On Add plugin page I can “reactivate” the MailPoetplugin.
When I try this then a message “De plugin heeft geen geldige “header””
(This plugin has no valid header).

Do you happen to know which PHP version your website is running on?

WordPress 4.8.2 gebruikt thema: Nisarg Child.
    Running PHP version: 5.6.17-1~dotdeb+7.1

Hmm, that’s strange. What if you completely delete it and download it again?

Trying to install with existing configuration.

    Downloaded mailpoet.3.0.6.zip

In my WordPress dashboard, navigated to Plugins > Add New
    Clicked on “Upload Plugin”
    Uploaded the mailpoet.3.0.6.zip file

Bezig met installeren van plugin vanuit bestand: mailpoet.3.0.6.zip
    Uitpakken van pakket… (Expand)
    De plugin installeren… (Install plugin)
Doelmap bestaat al. /public/sites/www.je-photo.nl/wp-content/plugins/mailpoet/ (Already exists)
    Plugin installatie mislukt. (Install failed)
Terug naar de plugininstallatie. (Back to)

    Then:
    Renamed /public/sites/www.je-photo.nl/wp-content/plugins/mailpoet/ to …/mailpoetOLD (FTP)

In my WordPress dashboard, navigated to Plugins > Add New
    Clicked on “Upload Plugin”
    Uploaded the mailpoet.3.0.6.zip file

    At 17:31 (local time)
    Uitpakken van pakket… (Expand)
    De plugin installeren… (Install plugin)
    At 17:45 still installing
    At 19:00 still installing
    Reload page
Are you sure you want to do this? Try again. I did go back.
Mailpoet is now possible to activate at the pluginpage.
Plugin active and most important, my subscribers are still there!

    Thanks for your assistance!
