• I installed wordpress and added another theme, the BizGrowth theme. In the Appearance/Customize menu I have no Theme Options item. I do not have any plugins installed yed. The Theme Options also do not appear with any other theme e.g. Twenty Seventeen.
Also I have already tried to change between static front page and showing last posts.

Does anybody know this problem? Any help?

    Thanks, Sebastian

  • Hi Sebastian, its better to ask directly the authors of the theme here https://www.ads-software.com/support/theme/bizgrowth

It is not only a problem with a single theme, e.g. the Twenty Seventeen theme shows the same problem.

Twenty Seventeen doesn’t have a “Theme Options” item in the customizer, and it’s likely your other theme doesn’t either. Not sure why you expect them to. Not all themes have the same options in the customiser.

EDIT: I assume you’re asking about a section literally named “Theme Options”, because of how you’ve capitalised it. If you just mean you can’t see any ‘theme options’, are you just seeing a blank space? With Twenty Seventeen you should see Colours and Header Media, which are the Twentyseventeen specific sections.

Sorry, @dimitris33 is right about Twenty Seventeen. The other theme probably just doens’t have that feature, and you’d need to speak to the theme author.

Twentyseventeen requires you to have pages created, more than 1, if i remember correctly so that’s why you don’t see the options, it happened to me lots of times and thought there was something wrong. You can try other themes as well to see what is happening but i believe since you are using a specific theme, asking its developers is the best thing.

@jacob it does have, you need to set the theme to static page and have more than 1 page, in wp>pages

I thought that this might be a general problem with WordPress that somebody knows a solution for. @jakept Theme definitely has option menu, as it is advised so.
    Thanks
