refresh or clearing cache causes widget to disappear

  • so, when I select refresh or set a countdown to clear the api cache, my widget / shortcode disappears.
    my theme is vantage.

    When I select “Save Changes” in my dashboard (settings>challonge>save changes) it works, clearing the cache so a new load of the page https://www.keystoneptune.com/tournaments/ will be updated.

    I’ve tried a bunch of different things but can’t seem to get it to work

    Is it possible to call the clearCache function upon page load?

    I was using the Challonge widget inside of a Page Builder page. and as of version 1.1.6 it looks like these two donut play well together.

    The solution was to instead use shortcode WITH a limit set.

    [challonge limit=5]

    this solved all my problems.
