posts as summary in front page??

  • How can one have a post only showing the first or so paragraph in the front page and then taking you to the full article elsewhere? This is because posts of long articles keep piling up in the front page and that’s not so pleasing.

  • The easiest way may be to just use the more tab <!–more–> to split your posts where you want. Otherwise, you can use the except in your theme instead of the content. Your archives are probably already called this way…if so, just look at how that page is coded and change your index page accordingly.
