• This problem is not new to this version of WP Standalone.

When I save a draft, WP inserts the title of a post I wrote a long time ago. That post title was a date. It also changes the posting date to that title name, only setting it to one year ago.

So, when I type a new title “New Title”, it inserts November 5, 1800, which was the title of a previous post. It then saves the draft, but shows the posting date at November 5, 2016, which is the date that the ‘original’ post was published.

I hope I am clear. Thanks for any help.

Does this only happen when you save a draft, as opposed to Publishing the post?

If only when saving a draft, what happens when you publish the post (presumably saving the correct title & publish date, THEN edit the post to revert it back to draft status?

Any chance you are running some sort of caching plugin? (it shouldn’t be doing this on the wp-admin dashboard, but it’s worth asking.)

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I have the W3 Total Cache.. Do you think that may be the cause?

Have you tried completely clearing the cache? And if that doesn’t work, try temporarily deactivating W3 Total Cache.
