Subdomain and adding pages

We have a site which we wish to add subdomains to handle various areas of our site.
The question is after a subdomain is created using the Cpanel how do I add pages to that specific subdomain?
When I go into the dashboard for our site I do not see any reference to any subdomain. I feel rather ignorant asking such mundane questions but I am lost here.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
