Control Access for Front End

    Before allowing users to see the content on my homepage (the front end of WordPress), I would like to require them to log in with a username and password.

    I have considered password protecting the public_html directory, but this is not sufficient, because I would like users to land on a page with my website logo with a basic login form/module.

    Any ideas how I can set this up?
