Hide Giftable product from shop

    Hello,

    I’d like to add a free gift to a product, but I would like the gift to not be visible on the shop page – so you cannot view or buy it separately, it is only available when you buy a specific product.

    Is this possible?

    To be sure it is only a gift, select Product data: Gift

    You can hide it from shop page (also you should exclude it from search page),
    there is a small snippet on WooCommerce Documentation site to exclude category from shop page

    For search, you can take a look at filter pre_get_posts, link to WordPress Codex

    Thanks – product data helped.

    Hiding the gift on the shop page using the category meant I had to assign it a category, which then appears on my menus.

    So I will stick with it being visible but customers can’t purchase it.
