Won’t open gallery images

    With or without [gallery link="file"], and regardless of “all in one gallery” or Word Press Galleries only” setting, gallery images just won’t open in Fancy Box. I tried 3 themes and no plugins active.
    It even works for featured images when coded to link to file, but not the gallery images.

    When galleries are set to link to file, they open in the browser.
    If I activate Jet Pack’s Carousel, they open in the carousel as expected.
    In over 10 years I’ve never seen Easy Fancy box simply not work for image galleries like this.

  • The Easy Fancy Box works very well if you code to media file.

    When you create a gallery in wordpress you have to choose Media file.

    Most of my websites (for artists) are builted with Easy Fancy Box and they all works very well.

    Hi @deepbevel sorry to hear you’re having trouble. Indeed like @faucherd said, it should just work. Can you share a link to your site? I might be able to find ou what’s going wrong when seeing it live ??

    Thanks, and yes I’ll set it up again and show you if it’s still an issue.
    I too have used the plugin many times for many years and it always works as expected.
