301 redirect to homepage

    Hello;

    Can we redirect those images that are not attached to the home page using 301?

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    No, this is not possible with my plugin and I will not add this feature because in my opinion this is not what HTTP 301 is made for.

    404 means “this content does not exist”. 301 means “this content still exists but has moved to another location”.

    In my opinion HTTP 301 should only be used if you delete a page and create a new one that should replace the old one. Sending a visitor to another page without giving him an idea why he was redirected is not a good user experience. That’s my view and that’s why I do not support this.

    But there are other plugins available that do a 301 redirect. I’m pretty sure you’ll find one that fits your needs.
