I did a Gtmetric test I got a Specify a Vary: Accept-Encoding header on this plugin
    ? https://tomsfoolery-tomsfoolery.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/plugins/megamenu/js/maxmegamenu.js

Is there a solution for this I am just tryingto correct all the small items I can find.
Putting a snippet in the htaccess for Specify a Vary: Accept-Encoding header solved several but I have this lagging behind for this plugin.

Possibly a snippet you could provide where I could edit the plugin for it.(I have never edited a plugin so I am not looking to do it without some good advise on it.

No problem with the plugin operating.
Thanks for the free version and and help on this.

    Tom

    Hi Tom,

    I’m seeing the header here:

    https://screencast.com/t/hRafnJLs

I suspect it’s either caching on the CDN, or caching somewhere in gMetrix that’s not quite caught up yet. If clear the MaxCDN cache and you try the test again in a couple of hours I think that message will disappear.

(Setting the headers is something that happens at server level, so there’s nothing in the plugin you could change to add a header to a static file – what you’ve done so far is correct)

    Regards,
    Tom

Thanks, for the quick response. I had a response from the people who I bought my theme from I had 4 different ones from them and they said the same thing that it is set at the server level.
