• I’m trying to replicate my website https://paul-lehmann.co.uk to https://paul-lehmann.fr using Search-Replace-DB-master.

First I have uploaded my wordpress folder using Filezilla
I have also uploaded the database using PHPMyAdmin.

When I try to access to https://www.paul-lehmann.fr/wp-config.php

it seems that there is no connection to the database.

I have check many times all the settings:
    MySQL database username
    MySQL database password
    MySQL database hostname
    MySQL database name

And when I try to launch Search-Replace-DB-master it doesn’t work.

    Any idea please ?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Have you added a user to mysql and mapped the user to that database in Cpanel?

Hi, thanks for your answer. I know how to add a user using PHPMyAdmin but I never used Cpanel. What I am supposed to do please ?

If you are on the same hosting using the same database you don’t need to do anything with cpanel.

You can not access the wp-config.php file. you will just get a blank screen.

Are you moving the site to a new host? What are you actually trying to do here?

Do you plan on having both sites up at the same time?

I Strongly recommend using a backup/restore plugin to move a WordPress site.
