Paypal error 10213

  • Please help, our ecommerce store needs to open next week, but are having problems with your express checkout plugin for recurring payments. Yes we have reference transactions on our paypal account.

    When the next payment is due (daily intervals) we receive this error:

    DoReferenceTransaction API call failed.

    Error Code: 10213
    Error Severity Code: Error
    Short Error Message: Invalid Soft Descriptor
    Detailed Error Message: The soft descriptor passed in contains invalid characters
    User IP: 172.30.0.196

    How can i resolve this?

    Do you have logging enabled in the plugin settings? We need to get a look at the log to see what’s getting passed in the soft descriptor parameter.

    Inside the woocommerce order notes i see this as well

    I will activate logging now, and paste anything here.

    Is there a place that i can send you the log file? the next daily interval will be tomorrow evening, which will surely come up with an error.
