    Hi,

I wonder if its possible to make the rules work fr?n the top category level.

For example I have category with “Bikes” with a lot of subcategories. I would like to exclude all those categories from free shipping. I tried this with the option “not equal to”. But I dosen′t work on all the subcategories, is it possible to make this work in any may?

    best regards

    Hi,

It is possible to make it work that way, but it does require programming skills to either modify the existing condition, or add a new custom condition that fits your exact requirements.

Alternatively you can also look into using shipping classes if possible. That way you can setup and assign shipping classes to the products you want to group together.

    Have a great day!

    Thanks for your respond.

Which file do I have to modify?
    I will give it a try! ??

    Hi,

You should modify any files directly, but instead use WordPress hooks/filters to modify the how things work through your child-themes functions.php file.

    Jeroen
