The plugin works for me. I have none of the reported issues that I could see on this forum, but I do have a significant problem that I need help with.

When I enable the popup subscribe form my website no longer performs as intended.

    1. Some elements do not load on the home page
    2. Popup form itself does not appear
    3. If the popup form appears, the page cannot scroll until the form is filled in, and page refreshed, removing the trigger for the popup form.

    Version of plugin is 2.02

    Help.

I take this back. After further testing I realized that this plugin was causing the website to fail. It is as useful as a dose of malware. Do not install it or attempt to use it. It not only fails to perform its intended purpose, it also breaks your entire site.

    Hey @vmajor,

Thanks for sharing this feedback. Conflicts with outside features can certainly occur from time to time and I’d like to help investigate this with you if you’re still using the plugin. If possible, could you provide the following details?

    – A copy of the site’s WooCommerce System Status Report
    – When you see that the website fails with the plugin enabled, are you able to capture any errors in any logging you have setup for the site, or in the logging tab within MailChimp for WooCommerce’s settings?
    – Does this behavior persist when deactivating all plugins besides WooCommerce and MailChimp for WooCommerce?
    – Is this pop-up form being added through MailChimp’s native signup forms, or by way or a different plugin?

Thanks in advance for sharing these details. I’ll keep an eye out for your response.

I am now running a development server with php 7.1 on dev.venn-cycling.com and the Mailchimp plugin still does not work. When it is enabled and I choose to have a newsletter subscription popup I am unable to scroll the page, any page.

When I disable the popup I cannot see any obvious problems. All three available popup versions cause the scrolling error.

    – There are no errors in the server log.
    – I am not disabling other plugins. Unless you can fix your plugin I will just use a different plugin for signup
    – It is the native plugin. Non native (ibericode) works just fine, as does everything else.

If you want to use a popup with Ibericode plugin I suggest Boxzilla. It’s from Ibericode as well and works well with MailChimp for WordPress plugin.

Hope that helps. If you have any questions, please let us know!

    Hey @vmajor

It is not uncommon for plugins to conflict with one another especially if they’re both running javascript on the page. That being said, since this pop-up form is being added by way of MailChimp’s Native Signup Forms, this would be a javascript conflict with a code snippet provided through MailChimp, and not through the code generated in the MailChimp for WooCommerce plugin.

In order to further troubleshoot how MailChimp’s Signup Forms snippet loads on your site, I would recommend reaching out to MailChimp’s Support Team.

If you have any other questions about the plugin, please let us know.
