How do we get images using the Posts shortcode?

  • I’ve been playing with Shortcodes Ultimate.

    And trying to use it to view a list of posts.

    But there are no options to show the images that go along with the posts.

    This seems like a major problem.

    Is there anyway to use this to show images that are with posts?

  • The first parameter field is Template, and you’d want to use the “teaser-loop” template. You can click it from the list below the field to select it.

    You can also define your own templates and place them in your theme. You would then use the relative location of “my-templates/my-image-post-loop.php” in the template field.

    Hi there.
    I know I shouldn’t interupt in another support question, but I am also struggling With the Pictures of the post in the post shortcode list function. I have tested all 4 templates offered by SU, and they work properly and the post picture appears, but in a very small size. The preview shows a square thumbnail, but the output ends With a small rectangular picture when i use the defaul template. Using the teaser template the picture becoms even smaller.
    Anyone who knows why this happen?
    I use WP Twenty Fourteen as theme. I have changed to theme 2016 and 2017 just to see if the problem is solved, but the problem is still there.
