website automatically cancelling orders

Hi – after the developer made the latest major update a few months back, my website has been automatically cancelling orders.
He told me the issue was fixed, but it wasn’t – we are no longer working together so I would really appreciate some help with this issue.The customers do not get a notification email of the cancellation, and the paypal payments were not cancelled.
I was told to ask this question in this forum
