Hi, After updating to WC 3.2.1, my setting to “Enable the shipping calculator on the cart page” is no longer respected, and the shipping calculator does not show up unless the user is logged in or has already entered their address at checkout.

When I roll back to WC 3.1.2, it works fine, and the calculator shows up on the cart page for non-logged in users.

I’m not sure which version in between 3.1.2 and 3.2.1 broke this.

There have been some changes to the cart logic in 3.2. Chances are that your theme is overriding the default cart page with their own and has not yet updated it to a compatible version, or they have and you must still update your theme on your site.

I’d suggest you test this with a default theme like Twentyseventeen or Storefront and see if the issue persists, if not then you will have to contact your theme developers for assistance.

    Tests performed using Storefront.

And all plugins disabled (except WC, and WC-Australia-Post).

Similar issue here upon updating to ver 3.2.1 and remains in 3.2.2
Shipping calculator only appears on the cart page when there is address information (logged-in users or guests who have entered address data on the checkout page and went back to the cart page).

My fix is counter-intuitive (and I’m waiting for it to make sense again).

In Woocomm “settings” navigate to “shipping options” via the “shipping” tab. You will find a select-box (that is probably unchecked) for “Hide shipping costs until an address is entered.”
Check the selection and save changes…
It currently does exactly the opposite and SHOWS the shipping calculator when NO address information is entered.

Don’t know why this is acting this way, but I’ll just have to keep an eye on it until the logic is reversed to sense-making.
