extra recaptcha div?

Recently I’ve noticed this weird extra div that comes right after the recaptcha form, in the div contains a #g-recaptcha-response text area..

I don’t understand what that is and why it is there. I’ve reinstalled the plugin and also tried changing the theme, but it’s still there. I can’t really hide the div, I could only manage to hide the text area inside.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem, is there a way to get rid of the div? Appreciate the help!
