Hello, I believe the spacing of bullet-point items is off on the tool-tip. If I create a bullet-point list, in the WordPress post (and in the visual editor) the spacing of the bullet points is single-spaced. However, in the tooltip that is created they are double-spaced.

    See for example https://i.imgur.com/Q8b0jM7.png

Additionally, the spacing of the bullet point text in the tooltip becomes very large if you have any indented bullet points, it’s double or triple-spaced

    Hello,

Looking at the screenshot you’ve sent, the only thing which really looks off is the last set, as they’re clearly one linebreak apart. But it doesn’t necessarily come from the plugin itself – as 90% of the styles are usually coming from the theme.

Any way to see it I’d need to see the page where this tooltip appears. Could you please provide the link?

Thanks for the reply, I agree the rest of it looks great — the only thing which looks off is the item list (the bullet points). I set up a test post for you to look at. From my (very untrained) eye, it looks like there are <br> tags being added between each <li> list item inside the tooltip (they are not present in the actual glossary item).

Here’s the link to a test post which has a glossary item which displays this behavior

    Hi,

Yes, indeed there are <br> between the <li> items. This is likely because the wp_kses() function is being applied to the tooltip content by some 3rd party plugin. Please try to disable other plugins and check if it still happens.

Interesting — this is a brand new WordPress install I made specifically for testing this, so the only other plugins installed are the standard Hello Dolly + Akismet Anti-Spam, and both of this are deactivated.

For thoroughness I deleted both of them, so now the only plugin listed is the CM Glossary Tooltip, but it looks like it still has the same odd spacing behavior.

    Hi amccaugh,

I’ve managed to replicate the issue. It will be fixed in the next version of the plugin (3.5.8)
