I am doing same thing for another site. Where should I copy files in order to see blogs at my homepage ( For e.g at https://www.example.com)

1) at root /
2) at root/public_html

Should I copy the whole unzipped folder ‘wordpress’ or JUST COPY THE FILES?

Please guide.
