LLA counts login attempts against me every time I visit the login page, whether I attempt to log in or not. I have it set to 4 attempts; I’m immediately down to 3. If I close and return, it’s down to two, still no attempts. I’ve gotten locked out a few times in the last couple of days as I’ve been intensively configuring the site against a recent massive brute force attack. Is this by design? Is there something in the configuration to change it?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I’ll soon be locked out for 24 hours, unless I change the settings to something weaker.

    Hi joncosby,

This might happen when you use any extra login protection methods, like http authorization. LLAR normally doesn’t count login attempts when a visitor just opens the login page.
