Issue with Featured Posts dropdown in Customize area

You are the first person who reporting this issue. Please deactivate all plugins one by one and see if that helps. It might be some plugin conflict. Could you also hit F12 on Chrome and see if there are any errors in Console tab?

Yes, I am having the same issue – none of my posts come up when trying to change featured posts.

I’ve just installed the fresh version of WordPress 4.8.3 and the latest version of Kale 2.0. I haven’t found any issues with Featured Posts.

I have sent in a response and have not heard back.

This is very frustrating – none of my recent blog posts will show as a result.

There are no drop down options on the Featured Post page.

I haven’t added any new plugins or changed anything to my site, besides the latest update.

I am having the same problem: three featured posts are there for a long time now. I would love to change them, but the pull-down menu doesn’t work. There are no new plugins whatsoever, so that should not be the problem I guess. Please help…

@silphya We’re working with @ldagnillo and @developerchick to figure out what may be causing this as we’re unable to replicate this on our end. We’ll keep you posted.

@silphya The cause of this issue on @ldagnillo and @developerchick sites was Events Calendar plugin. It seems that this plugin changes select field in WordPress Customizer and there is no way to open it.

So what is the resolution? I can’t remove the events calendar plugin.

I’m also having the same problem. Strangely, the customize option only doesn’t work when I’m in desktop mode but when I switch to the mobile theme then it’s ok. I’ve read through the thread and have tried deactivating plugins one by one which hasn’t worked and I do not have the Events calendar plugin so that wouldn’t be the problem.

Please help!
