4.8.3 breaks my MailChimp forms

    I had to downgrade to my previous version. When I update WordPress to 4.8.3, my easy mail chimp forms break. While they display fine, they just reload the page on submission. At first I thought it was because the site now runs over SSL, but that is not the case. SSL is no problem. However after I update to 4.8.3, that’s when I have a problem. My standard contact form works with no issue. Any insight into this problem would be appreciated. I can setup a clone if need be for testing. Thank you for the great work.

    Hi @rldev,

    What’s happening is that the JavaScript on your site is throwing a fatal error which is breaking our submission/subscription JavaScript functions.

    When I inspect your site (in the developer’s console) I see that jQuery is not loading at all. Do you have any idea why this could occur?

    I am not sure if it’s a plugin or something with your site’s configuration but fixing these JavaScript errors will allow Easy Forms to work correctly again.

    Edit: I spoke too soon – the errors on your site are not breaking the form. The form is working because you downgraded. However, this is the most likely cause of the issue you mentioned.
