    Hi,
I would somehow like to aggregate one of my sites unto my other site without being penalized for duplicate content, and I have thought about being able to add something to the header to tell search engines not to index posts from a specific category, the problem now is, how? How can I tell a search engine not to index posts from a specific category?

I bumped upon a hack of wprecipes
    https://www.wprecipes.com/how-to-disable-search-engine-indexing-on-a-single-post

Which isn’t working either for a single post for me,
    any idea?

    Hi thanks,

the plugin isn’t working out for me that well, I don’t know why.
If there is someone who has the same problem, I would like to share what I did.

I created a custom single.php template for posts of some specific category, with a different header from the the usual one.

Since my original header has a robots meta of follow, all. I made a new header specially for posts of the category that I don’t want to be indexed which has robots meta of noindex, nofollow, all. Teden, those posts are now not indexed anymore.
