Category counting

    Is it possible to make the widgets/shortscodes regarding categories just be counting the number of posts/adverts?

    Right now it seems that the number of selected categories (main + sub cats) are being counted.

    Hi, i am afraid this is not really possible, the counting WPAdverts is using right now is the native WP taxonomy counting (that is this is the same way default WP categories are counted) it makes sure that the calculations are made correctly and quickly, using your own counting mechanism would require some custom programming and due to how WPJB database is designed it would not be as efficient as the current one is.
